1.best book on the strip to place some wagers around $100 (not too far from treasure island)
2.Best place to play some 1-2 n/l or even a few 100$ tourneys
3 how much cash would you bring
4.any omaha h/l tables or tourneys

mirage has a good book and its very close to treasure island. i bring 1k per day and i usually go for 3 days. venetian has a ton of $200, $300 and $400 deep stack buy-in tourneys.

Hooters is probably the best 1/2 NL game lol they have aces cracked at $200 for the same color or $100 for diff color

A lot of the places play 1-3 NL if that is ok?

Planet Hollywood can be a good 1-2 game because of a $10 button straddle though the game will play big if a lot of people are doing it

Just realized if you play 20 hours at the caesars family before sunday morning you would be eligible for the freeroll which would give you a pretty good chance to $500. Top 40 all get 500 and probably less than 200 players.

Ive been here 4 days and I won over $200 in low stakes cash every day so I doubt you need that much you are better than me

I'm a big LVH fan. I think they've got the best book around for my needs anyways. Love playing the ponies there on Sundays with my Uncle Joe. Honestly, any book will be fine for you. Just have fun and get some sun. Don't stay inside too much or you'll end up looking like Slimmer.

As for cash, bring what you can afford to lose. Who am I to say what that amount is for you.

Cosmo/Aria/Planet Holylwood area is a good placed to make sports bets because they all have different lines, and all real close to each other, even though there are many sportsbooks in Vegas most are clone lines. Will Hill/MGM/Cantor/Caesars are like 95% of the books on the strip

This for info on Poker rooms: http://www.allvegaspoker.com/

I personally liked PH and Mandalay bay rooms the best. RM18's point about button straddles is right, the games play bigger. I don't remember it being $10 though. Most rooms I have seen now allow this.

Mirage is one of my favorite books and it is next door to TI. Go there an you will not be dissapointed. I think Ceasers is overrated. Not enough TVs
