to a point of 1 out of 4 ppl dying?...
Mutations are truly random so you never know.

But there is lineage and they know the genome so if shit bad bad all of the sudden they would know, even in low info, low vax, low income countries, like Uganda.

Right now, in the real world, not hypothetical, the bigger fear is that new variants can evade vaccines, the good news is that they really don't so far and we have the capability of altering the vaccine based on the mutations, sort of.

But, let's talk about the trade off of increased effectiveness. Look at Ebola, pre vaccine (yes there is an ebola vaccine). It killed some 85% of the infected. But where this a local outbreak in Africa, people get so sick so fast that they quarantine and die.

If the virus is too aggressive, it won't have a chance to spread around the world as it will kill it's hosts too quickly. So an extremely deadly and aggressive virus that kills it's hosts quick will not be very successful. Those mutations will likely die out after local deadly outbreaks.

The most successful ones are the ones that just get the host sick enough to spread...common colds that only kill a few, mostly at risk, people. Killing the host can work against some mutations because there isn't chance to spread.

But if it could manage to infect with little or no symptoms, then people spread it around the world, then it goes on to kill, well that could be dangerous.

But that requires a lot of successful successive mutations that would be difficult to achieve, especially with human immunity and science fighting it every step of the way.

One day the bad one will come, and it will likely be engnieered, and we, the world, are not and will not be ready.

SARS-CoV-2 is a (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrom) is the virus that causes the disease COVID-19 Coronavirus Disease 2019). That disease can affect nearly ever system in the body, including the brain, and it's unpredictable among the population. It is a cold virus guys, a coronavirus, but there other viruses that colds too, like rhinovirus...the most common cause of the common cold.

There is no cure for the common cold, and you can see why. It's because of mutations. But mRNA techonology is brilliant and gives us the ability to build an immune response without having to acutally get infected and possibly very sick. So we'll see, they won't cure the cold, but they could wipe a lot it out with mRNA tech. Similar to making attempts at the Flu vaccine each year.

But I'm off topic. The point is that mutations occur when the virus spreads, cold or flu, and after a season in each hemisphere, there will be a shit ton of mutations (flu and cold) around the world...remember that.

Let's talk about HIV (Human ImmunodeficiencyVirus), the virus that causes AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficency Syndrome). The sugar coating around this virus is so thick that it evades immune response. To give you an idea, the coatings around a cold at there, but only so much. HIV has exponentially higher, like nothing ever seen in the world, ever. In my opinion, to mutate to that, make such a jump, would be extremely unlikely, could it have been man made?

    But there's more...

One reason they were unable to create a vaccine for HIV is, just like the cold and flu, mutations. But get this, HIV mutates, not when it's passed on to another host, but within the body itself.

There are more virus mutations within one single HIV host than there will be cold virus mutations from an entire cold season around the world!

Read that shit I just wrote again.

See the fight they've been in for 40 years? The struggle is real and now you know why.

Can mRNA tech be the answer? I dunno. I'm no expert, this is low level knowledge, to be honest. Not common knowledge, but introductory for sure.

If you read this you might have learned something cool along the way.

    I hope so.

    Let's have cigar...

Like I said fellas, they are playing chess and without context, all we can do is play checkers. Understanding the bettors, the marketplace, provides that context. I do that with multiple forecast from all levels of betting and things like the public gauge. Combine that with knowledge of how the markets operate, and you have chess pieces.

But the only context you need to know here is that this play is in the KVB NCAAF UPSET Basket and that basket, while stalling on it's recent rise, is still in a short term Buy Signal.

    I can play chess too...
That line moved back to 3 the next day and we have even see 2.5 in spots.

    375 25-Sep NAVY +20 (-104)

When the I made that post above, the Total was 49.

Now, BM, with the lowest total out there by a point at 47, is hanging 18.5 while everyone else, with a higher Total of 48, is hanging 20.

I've said over and over that this Fund is the sharpest Fund I post.

If you all realized who Cardinals are winning these games
with .... you'd be incredibly impressed
They've lost all their starters but 2

And the 2 starters are the 2nd oldest pitcher in baseball Wainright, and Mikolas who's pitched 10 games in 2 years. That's it .... those are considered the aces

Absolutely incredible fight for this team
