The conversation always starts the same with her, no matter the guy...

    "Eyes up here!!!" she says.

"uhh, I was just reading your shirt" he says.

They want us to read their shirt.

But they know we don't give a shit about what their shirt says, they know we give a shit about titties though.

So they use the titties to grab your attention to get you to read their shirt.

    Sex sells.

    Right????

Looks like California Honey forgot to button/zip up her pants in prior post.

    What a shame.

Good thing she took care of that in second picture.

The KVB NBA Contrarian Fund has picked up...

    568 1-Nov BRK +4.5 (-105)

The contrarian side has not done well but that market might be turning. I'll get into when I can.

We can close the books on MLB 2019 and here's the story.

Here's the KVB MLB Contrarian Fund after 674 plays, 17 of them in the playoffs. There were 9 plays that triggered but never went off, due to weather or pitching change, giving us 665 graphed data points.

    906 25-Oct HOU/WAS UNDER 8 (+110) 1.1
    Playoffs Wk 4 1.1
    Regular Season 2019 3.69
    Playoffs Wk 1 -0.65
    Playoffs Wk 2 3.08
    Playoffs Wk 3 0.24
    Total 7.46

Here it is with moving averages as it does track the Contrarian market...

What a year it was. There was a large market shakeout, and a few small ones. With about 7 units in mistakes early on the chart should overall be higher which would improve the ROI a bit. The important mistake, and I know these were already discussed, is the last big shakeout.

Those 3 additional units I slept through, if included in the chart, would give us a pretty steady upward trend that gives us hope for next year.

My intention is to continue the Fund and tracking into next year, and add even more things to the analysis, things we'll go over during basketball.

If we can get through next year without the big shakeout, it could a good year. The drop we saw this year represented one of the worst couple of weeks in MLB betting that I've had in perhaps forever. So there's a good chance we don't see it again for a while.

Make no mistake, it's a market tracking Fund, we can only hope the shakeouts will be minimal in number and depth, but we can be assured there will be bouncing...

Here's the KVB NCAAF Totals Fund through week 9 with links to each play and a crude closing line comparison.

This Fund went 1-2, -1.13 units this week, just like last week. The win loss record continues to dip here but we are still seeing some improvement over the close.

One thing that sticks out here is that of the 31 plays only 8 of them are OVERs and they are 1-7, -6.07 units on the season. With OVER bets, the Fund is 4-2-2 against the closer with an average of positive 1.5 against the closer. The OVER bets are highlighted in RED...

Looking at the season charts we are seeing a divergence, with units dropping fast and both the closing line running averages and even the unit decline starting to flatten...

I do expect a comeback here, but I doubt it's led by OVER bets. This week there 4 UNDER bets in play so far.

Since last year, this Fund has given up the gains and from then until now is -1.14 units. I put that in bold because I'm not adding that chart this week. This week let's look at the closing comparison.

Despite sitting at less than .34 this year, through the 31 plays, the Fund overall is still at .5476, more than 1/2 point better than the close.

As far as the health of the plays, that's nothing to shake a stick at, especially since we aren't accounting for key numbers in the comparison...

Even so, it's best we keep a sharp eye on the condition of the condition of the Totals Fund.

NCAA sports in general have softer Totals, we know this and I've shown supporting evidence many times across sports. So it comes as a surprise that the worst performing Fund in the KVB NCAAF Family of Funds is the Totals venture.

Last year it took 57 plays for this Fund to turn positive, this year it's tending the same way, though we aren't positive yet...

The closing line over time really isn't as high as we would like to see at +.30 on the year and +.337 since last year. There are market adjustments made in this Fund, and the Totals Fund as well, that can often reflect the contrarian angle. Because of this, these plays are made later in the week, after we've seen some activity, and being contrarian, tend to be closer to the market than beating it. It often depends and it's not surprising we see more pushes than losses in both Funds when we talk about win loss vs. the closing line.

The charts are similar to last year so let's see if we get a pop, like last year. I expect this Fund to turn profitable on the season soon, but I'm waiting until we get there before deciding just how high we can go.

Let's get to the market functions.

Here's the KVB NCAAF UPSET Basket through week 9 with links to each play and a closing line comparison.

This Fund had 13 plays for -4.52 units. This is third worst week since last year (in 2018, week 3 was -5.87 and week 12 was -5.2) and with last week's -3.7 units and the week before's -1.63 units we are looking a one of tougher 3 week stretches in the history of the Fund...

Though the Fund was 6-7 against the close this week, the running average still rose and the Fund maintains a decent win loss record against the close...

I know I've discussed how just a few runaway lines really adjusted that closing line comparison graph down, but we still need to continue to see that comparison rise or this could be a protracted pullback. Things are awfully flat right now and we should expect a big week against the closer in the near future.

So even with the overall chart possibly being higher, we can't use that as an excuse, we need to see direction moving back up.

This Fund sure would like to be beating the market by closer to .15 cents over time or at least see the chart trending that way...

I do predict a big week against the closer soon that should help push this back above .10 cents.

There is no denying that we are sideways here and there isn't much in the bollinger bands to tell us we are turning upward. All we get from the moving averages is that we may not be done falling...

Here's that massive chart, up to date through week 9 of this year, for some perspective...

This is getting interesting and if we can see a big week against the close, with a decent set of units on top, we could see a market turn.

That would be something to dance to...

This Fund still has an error with a missed Purdue +17.5 (-105) from October 19th.

When it came to the closer on Nevada it was tricky because of market reporting. Pinny hit 12 with juice but they can be rogue. I was tempted to stick with the original 13.5 but overall there was a drop in that price and even going through the pecking order mentioned before, we needed to reflect late money and the drop to 13.

On the season the Fund is averaging just under +.4 points against the closer. The season charts don't show as much so let's look at last year too...

Given last year's success with this Fund, we can tolerate some sideways units. But that dropping running average against the close is something to consider. The good news is that we are still clearing the closing line by +.531 points, above a half point.

If that closing line comparison can stabilize, it is just a matter of time before this market turns in our favor...

As mentioned yesterday and when it happened, there is a winning Baylor +170 that wasn't posted in time. Last night, there was a +490 winner. With the beginning of week 10, this Fund has basically come back to even on the year.

This Fund, despite the wild moves of the bigger moneylines, is virtually dead even against the closing line in both record and average. We are consolidating, and it's a matter of time before this Fund pops both in units and the closing line comparison running average, in my opinion.

Through week 9, the Fund has a win loss record of 19-55, or 25.6%.

Here's the winning percentage and units of year's past...

It's taken some time, but hopefully we start to see why it is we rotated this market function Fund into the KVB Family of Funds. While this Fund wasn't tracked here last year, here's this year and last year combined, to show just how far we've fallen...

Can't wait for this Fund to not just come out from under water, but step out of the water altogether...

Here's the KVB NCAAF Family of Funds summary of summaries for Week 9.

There were 41 plays, again, but this time for -.17 units...

    Totals 3 -1.13 31 -8.72

It would be nice to see that again but clearly the haymaker fund is going to be a defining factor in that...
Let's hope for a repeat performance, a bit of a bounce...

Indeed, still in pain but mentally much better and have been eating like crazy.

I'm still recovering, but at least I'm not flipping out.

There really is hope, and tonight we're going for Mongolian BBQ!!
