What if we just take an average of averages of WNBA scores, include strength of schedule, and make that the rating? We can make a point spread with it and figure on a game winner for each matchup.

This is interesting. There are some road teams I have with big wins, like Houston, TB, and the LAD Dodgers may have been close for you in that lock column, but have the Yankees winning pretty decently here too, but have a bigger win in the first game between them (the line is larger in the market in game one).

Both games will have heavy Yankee action and you know Balty, always a contrarian look, starts getting adjustments.

I developed a way to incorporate win the win percentage of the teams as a rating of sorts and then was able to identify a moneyline range that gives us profit, with all indications it will moving forward...

...Like the stock market, sometimes these "sectors" go in cycles and sometimes they build up and crash. Like stocks, sharp crashes are often temporary and we see rebounds. Volatility is good because it gives us those drops to "buy low."...

...We are at a buy low stage here. If it's volatile, we could see a big increase this year. Otherwise, it could be stable returns until a pop, like years ago.

This season we are +.8 units here and expect the gauge to continue positive.

In this spot, the play is Balty for both games. Our forecasts and the public, which could be right, have pulled the line out of whack and produced value that shows a profit in a sector that has had it's worst year ever...
