Barreled In....Selling Ex's Engagement Ring...HELP Where to Sell it at???

I have an almost flawless diamond ring worth $5,000 and I am trying to figure out how I can get atleast $3,200 out of it. I got it appraised yesterday and she said I should have no problem getting $3500 for it.

I have it on Ebay as she suggested but what else could I do to move this thing??

Is anyone looking for a 1.01 carat Princess Cut Diamond, Color E and Cut VVS1 with GIA Certification AND a transferrable lifetime warranty at Helzberg??

    Anyone HELP!!!!!

There HAS to be someone in the market for a ring, or atleast with the degens on here, have went about selling a piece of jewlery before....and don't say a pawn shop as they will give me nothing for it.

Is this to pay off a debt, or get back into action?

Take it to pawn shop and get a quote. Pawn it for a higher cash out.

I too think you will be fine with eBay. Tell the story behind why you are selling it in a clever, funny and different way and it might go viral getting you lots of eyeballs and (hopefully) bids.

My friend sold it on Craigslist and got ripped off. I mean she didn't get a lot for it. I think your best bet is to sell it to a friend.

One thing I never do is buy expensive shit like that from a commercial chain retailer.

I like to use the small local business guys. That way when the shit goes bad with the biatches, I take it back to them and get closeer to what I paid for it. Especially the guys that deal in loose stones

Screw ebay. You should contact Sotheby's auction house in New York and be patient, they will sell your precious ring. And stay away from pawn shops because they will rip you off.
