On occasion I have had some discussion with a few of you guys concerning crime and the mafia, we spoke about movies and books and other subjects. Well tonight this station will broadcast for the first time "definitive guide to the mob" starting at 9 pm eastern. Two hour documentary that sounds like it will be good. Also on same station starting at 8 pm eastern America's Book of Secrets "the mafia files" a look into the mafia, secrets and violent tactics.

I am constantly on the look out for these programs and books on this particular subject, but they must be based on true stores or actual true stories. I am now reading a book called "escaping the arroyo" on my kindle, I think it was free, but not 100% sure. Interesting true story of a murder in New Mexico.

Yeah that was a really good show, I am glad you enjoyed it. I too watch all those type shows and read the stuff constantly.. I don't know the fascination because basically these guys are just bad people but I enjoy it. I think GF 1 and GF 2 are in the top five of best movies ever.

Back at ya. I think if you want to have an adult conversation sans the childlike horseshit inserted every other post it's best to just put the usual suspects on ignore. And I can think of several right leaning folks on here capable of adult conversation. But I can think of at least four who are just complete losers who rarely post anything worth reading. Every once and while I clear or turn off my ignore list just to compare the maturity level of a given thread. Try it. When you have ignore on the thread looks like adults having a conversation, usually. Turn it off and it's nothing but unfounded insults, lies and dishonest arguments every 2nd or 3rd post. And emoticons, lots of emoticons. A series of emoticons isn't much of retort or thought out logical response, is it? To me it's more like what a teenage or pre-teen girl might do in a bitch fit fight. Why waste your time reading or responding to that type of crap? For that matter way waste your time looking at it?

This is great counsel and it isn't that I don't realize it to be true, in fact I often have these guys on ignore but occasionally, like you, I become a little curious and that is when the trouble starts. But, it isn't really much trouble because these guys are incredibly dense and almost every one is very uneducated. They have extreme difficulty even competing in a war of words with almost anyone. Check out the strategy they use, first they almost always resort to lies, next they believe for some unknown reason that coloring their replies like a 4 year old is a great strategy. But, what gives me great joy is something I have been saying for years and that is one need not do anything with these guys. They are so lacking in communication skills and so wanting in education that all you need do is get them to respond, keep they composing and they will eventually, usually sooner than later, play the idiot. It is almost inevitable, the loon ranger, dwightie and the rifle do it constantly. Just in this short barrage with rifle he first lied, next he proved he doesn't know the meaning of very elementary words in this case slander and libel and last he improperly used a hyphen. Except for the lying these are small transgressions and not even worthy of mention unless you want to belittle the lad, and I do!
