It's bad timing for straight men to follow mainstream trends. Media trends are created by famous designer labels which have been managed by homosexual men for decades, and for several years they have been using stick-thin male models. In San Francisco straight men have put themselves on extreme diets in order to look like the models in the ads and they've lost so much weight that they look terrible. It's a craze that the media calls "Manorexia" and you can watch an episode of Inside Edition about it through this link.
It's no secret that gay fashion designers robbed women of their sexy curves. Everyone knows that. With that said, straight men fell for it and now they want stick-thin girlfriends with no breasts and hips. They're following a trend that is promoted by Victoria's Secret. I have a true story about a healthy man who starved himself and lost over 60 pounds because of peer pressure to look like an anorexic male model, a trend that was created by gay designers in the fashion industry. My ex fiance, Arash, is 5'11" tall and he weighed about 225 pounds when we met in August 2007. I thought he was fine but he wanted to lose weight. He began to cut back on food a little bit here and there, and during the spring of 2008 he put himself on a diet and he worked out at home every night. The following August he went back to school full time and he rode his mountain bike everywhere and by November he was in absolutely perfect shape. He was smokin' hot. He stayed that way for a long time, but sometime during the fall of 2009 I noticed that he was starving himself and that he had lost too much weight. He was becoming anorexic. He completeley stopped eating lunch at work and for dinner he ate light salads, and then he would be hungry again two hours later. We always had to eat dinner twice because he didn't eat enough the first time.
We broke up two days before February 2011 for a reason that had nothing to do with his weight or mine. He met another woman at work and had an affair with her over the internet. She began posting a lot of comments on his Facebook wall, sometimes three per day, and so I had a polite conversation with her about it. He became extremely mean to me after that and eventually he broke up with me under false pretenses. I talked to his relatives and they said that he began dating this woman full time within two or three weeks after we broke up, and that he moved into her house about three months later. They were together for one year and had a nasty break up. I didn't want to talk to him but I wanted to know how he weathered the proverbial storm and so I looked at his recent pictures on Facebook and discovered that he had lost a lot of weight. Now he's probably about 150 to 160 pounds, at 5'11" tall. The average female in the United States weighs about 155 pounds and is about 5'4" tall. It means that he's now thinner than most women.

Among the proposals in the bill: prison terms for Ugandans who fail to report a homosexual within 24 hours; lifelong prison sentences for a single homosexual act; and the death sentence for a range of acts, including having gay sex while HIV-positive, having gay sex with a disabled person or being classified as a "serial offender" — that is, someone who has gay sex more than once.
"It had overwhelming popular support in Uganda. You could hardly imagine a more popular initiative," says investigative journalist Jeff Sharlet. "It just sort of seized this frenzy — and then there was a lot of international pressure against it. You had Sweden threatening to cut off foreign aid, you had Germany saying, 'We'll give you a lot more money if you don't pass it' — and it's now gone into this holding pattern. ... [But] it remains incredibly dangerous."
Sharlet recently traveled to Uganda to speak with Bahati, the bill's author. He writes about that meeting in a September 2010 Harper's Magazine magazine piece, "." He describes how gay Ugandans are struggling to survive — and recounts his meetings with Bahati — in a conversation with Terry Gross on Fresh Air.
"Bahati said: 'If you come here, you'll see homosexuals from Europe and America are luring our children into homosexuality by distributing cell phones and iPods and things like this,' " Sharlet recounts. "And he said, 'And I can explain to you what I really want to do.' "
Sharlet accompanied Bahati to a restaurant and later to his home, where Bahati told Sharlet that he wanted "to kill every last gay person."
"It was a very chilling moment, because I'm sitting there with this man who's talking about his plans for genocide, and has demonstrated over the period of my relationship with him that he's not some back bencher — he's a real rising star in the movement," Sharlet says. "This was something that I hadn't understood before I went to Uganda, that this was a guy with real potential and real sway and increasingly a following in Uganda."
And he has connections to American leaders. Sharlet explains that Bahati is one of the Uganda leaders of an American evangelical movement called , or the Family — the secretive fellowship of powerful Christian politicians who wield considerable political influence, both in Washington and abroad.

So I would travel around sometimes with gay activists, and we'd speak to anti-gay crusaders — who were very certain they could spot a gay person anywhere — and they missed the guy standing right in front of them." "There is some hope because the international outcry did have an effect. Not only in scaring [Ugandan President Yoweri] Museveni, but in waking up a lot of Ugandan Christians — devout Evangelical and Pentecostal Christians — who at least turned against the death penalty because of this. Do me a favor and link/imbed the recent interview with Morgan Freeman and Don Lemon from CNN...Lemon asked him about racial barriers keeping the black man down in today's America and Freeman looked at him like an idiot and pointed out that THEY are two successful black men so obviously it's on those who don't make it to self reflect and not blame race....Lemon immediately shifted topics to talk about a birthday party embarrassed he couldn't get the respected common sense guest to drink the koolaide and play the victim for the audience.
