Leafer, you need to be clearer. What do you want these boots for? To work in, to walk in, your dailies, etc.?

Red Wings are solid but expensive. Caterpillar makes a good boot as well. Check them out.

i have the owned the same pair of timberlands since 06. i used them in an automotive technology in college (auto shop) for two years, Ive put screws in the bottom of them for the last two winters to walk out on ice for ice fishing. I love them. Everyone always give me shit because thugs wear them but i would buy another pair in a heart beat if i needed them, but i dont.

love my doc shoes but wouldnt recomend them for the winter. wtf do those brits know about cold?
i hear these days theyre made in china er some chit? mine are going on 25 y/o. black and oxblood

sounds like OP should check out the timbaland minning shoes. i was just giving pronker a ration of chit because he'd be the first to say that "chinks are sub human" i think was the term he used so naturally i had to take my shot while the opportunity presented itself. thats just good marksmanship there
i had a pair of tim's that i beat the chit out of roofing 15 y/ago but they discontinued those-of course.
gone to merrell's now....very comfy and take a roofers abuse while keeping my big ass on it.
