    I don't think it's a big deal. If you're both gainfully employed and mutually agreed to a date, probably ok to go halfsies. If you pursued her, pick up the tab, but don't go overboard on the chivalry card. Nothing more annoying than some dipshit aggressively insisting on paying because he thinks it makes him look like a big shot.

    You just pay and if you're really just going as friends and you want nothing more out of it, ever...if she trys throwing in some money just tell her to get it next time, if you think there will be a next time.

    Even when we go out with one of my wifes girlfriends, I always pay for theirs...When my cousin comes back from out of state, we always go out for lunch and I always pay....Always pay for the women, unless they are cun'ts, then don't even make eye contact with them and pay for all the rest of the tab except for theirs...That'll teach them to not be so cun'ty
