people have said to me that they want to move to Canada because of the health care and the low violent crime rate(you've probably heard this to);
my point is not to bash Canada, because Canada is a very good place to live for a lot of people;
well- last I checked, America has 300+million people and Canada still has less than 100 million;

I don't own a gun, but its nice to know that I could own a gun in case if a bunch of vatos want to rough me up for my 'lunch money' while I'm on the way to work.
In New Mexico, here, if guns aren't legal, local gangs would probably mug us.
5-6 vatos would easily get me at the bus stop or wherever I'm at.
But vatos/gangsters are cowards.They don't want to be the one to get the one bullet shot at them while one person wants to fend off several gang-related muggers. But they'll easily jump you knowing that you can't have a gun and take you for what you have with minimal to no injury.

My favorite thing about Real Americans/True Conservatives is that they always give specifics, they don't just speak in hot-air generalities like liberals.
