Whoever made that list is a big moron.

    2 Mendelsohn's Midsummer nights dream
    3 Grieg's piano concerto
    4 Mendelsohn's violin concerto
    5 Hummel's piano concertos
    6 Shubert's Death and a maiden
    7 Sibelius Karelia
    8 Part's Fratres

And the list goes on and on and on.

It was a vote of the station's listeners'. Chopin was outrageously absent from the top 100*. In fact piano concertos and sonatas were mostly ignored. Much of your list, though, did appear in the top 100.

    * Actually Chopin's Piano Concerto #1 was 81st, but still...

    No wonder...
95% of the public can name only 2 composers: Beethoven & Mozart.
