dude, you are saying that just because it nit happening where you live doesn't mean its not happening anywhere else. WTF man? I never said or insinuated that its happening everywhere. Just that its happening and it is happening.
Sure you don't have to google or see the countess videos of actual parents holding up the books and reading them in front of the school board and other parents to believe it is happening. You can personally go over the the damn country and verify it yourself. In the meantime, you can just stay in denial and pretend these are all just paid actors who have nothing better to do that waste their time in school board meeting with book their child brought come from school.

Here's another tip. Next time you start to feel like you have lost the argument, just tell the person they can't have an opinion due to having not done/felt/lived whatever the subject is.
Easiest way to run away as the loser without being forced to address any points or give any ground up.

But that does not mean it happens everywhere? No.
To isolate an idea like what we have discussed as "in the USA" leads the reader to believe it is everywhere or even in plenty of places.
It just is not. Period.
I am not trying to do this "bury you" BS online or "win" a discussion. I'm too old for that crap. I think we have corresponded long enough to know that. I will leave that to others.
I am trying to help you honestly understand what the USA is supposed to be about and is about in the vast majority of America.

Access to ALL sorts of information is good in a public library.
And although drag queen story seems bloody weird to me too. I don't equate it to reading porn to tiny kids, or indoctrination to become a drag queen. Nor would it concern me if my child saw a drag queen or heard them reading child appropriate books.
But I also hope my kids learn to accept differences and never get all upset about what other people wear or where they poop.
I don't want to talk about it either. But it's tough to just ignore the weirdo rants about a problem that doesn't exist like reading porn to young kids in schools..Comment -

I am a Canadian citizen. I don't much care about what happens in Norway. Yes, if I happen to see a 60-Minutes episode segment about Norway, I will probably check it out. As will I about all sorts of different countries which I am doing a lot lately getting ready to relocate myself.
The difference is the US affects me more than any other country does. Not necessarily when I need to renew my passport of course. I can so to any Canadian embassy in the world to do that. Over 90% of my business is done with the US and I usually get paid in USD. Why wouldn't I be interested what happens there? If my business was most with Australia, I might have more of an interest what happens there politically and if there was sports forum I was a part of where the talked about politics down under, I might chime in.
Does US politics only affect US citizens?
