Use a generator to get the generator started.

            Put on automobile back seat.
            Drive to Fla.

            Once in Florida
            Remove from car...
            Hit START.

Take out the spark plug(s) and warm it up. Put it back in using a plug wrench while it's still toasty.
Gloves would be a good idea also.

Bring it inside and let it warm up for a few hours and let it defrost in other words. Remove the spark plug, dip it in gas and clean it. Put fresh gas in the tank. Check fuel line to make sure it is not frozen and not clogged.

Give it a good kick and crank that shit up after!

spray some WD40 or hair spray down the air cleaner before starting
                        .

Gas can get old and bad even with additives. That's usually the culprit over long periods of time with old gas just sitting in the tank. Cars or generators.
