There is a Mouse in My House!!!

I was just playing poker against TTWarrior and BiteMeUS and i saw a mouse run through the kitchen and into a cupboard. I don't know what to do because i have no trap. TT suggested i cook it, but that doesn't make any sense. Do they go away on their own or do i have to waste money on a trap now? Please help thank you

One time, I lived in very small apt. I caught like 4 or 5 of them and saw at lease 2 or 3 more... I told my landlord and he didn't do anything so I moved out of there quick. Catching your mouse is important. But more important thing is try to find how they got in... Cuz if you can't find the whole, even if you catch this one, they will most likely keep come back. Or just simply move out and get new apt.

Buy some mouse traps, they're cheap as fukk - or rescue a cat, older the better - ask for a mouser.

The latter is easily the best of the two solutions, FWIW!

It wont go away on its on my friend, would you leave the comforts of a warm house for a cold wet outside??? definatly get a couple traps and some rat poison, my guess is like all landlords they wont give a rats a$$ so youll need to sort it yourself....but definatly dont leave it in the hopes they will leave, they will only increase in numbers......all the best my friend.....

Get a cat. That will solve the problem. Also cats are great pets.

I had a pregnant mouse come into my house one time. My cat had a field day with it, and its offspring. The mouse gave birth downstairs. My cat would catch one and carry it upstairs into the living room, like it was an arena, so she could play with it. I would have to bring a broom in, and use it like a hockey stick, by slamming the mouse hard into the wall. They almost die instantly. This went on for a couple of weeks, but I've been mouse-free for a few months now.

I have used traps, don't get a trap, they are horrible, even if you do catch one using a trap, then what? You still have to kill it somehow, unless you can get a trap that kills mice/rats instantly.

I have dealt with this problem numerous times, Italian slum lords and rats seem to go hand in hand for some reason. What has always worked is rat poison, even if it's for mice. Always use more than recommended, leave a whole bunch in places where you have seen the mice, along fences and gutters, cupboards etc. They never seem to die inside the house which is good. They never come back.

Guarantee a cat will kick ass on them. They always save half for you as an added bonus.

Bad thing about rat poison is that they can die in your walls, then stink up the place.

Get a sticky trap, if you don't want to fumble around with the old school type traps. The sticky traps will even catch the roaches that run across it.

Give your landlord a call, who knows, they might take care of it.

You have an infestation. This mouse was the poor little bastard who couldn't get enough to eat at night because of the other mice, and had to venture out during the daylight. Sleep well.
