An Ohio man was charged with aggravated assault after police said he stabbed his father with a pocketknife following the Cleveland Browns-New York Giants game on Sunday.
The Newark Advocate is reporting that Logan H. Knight, 22, and his father, 51, brawled outside a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant following a wager gone wrong. According to reports, Logan and his father left the restaurant at 4 p.m. to settle the bet outside. After the elder Knight shut his son's hand in a truck door, Logan responded by punching his father in the face. Then, his father punched him repeatedly, according to a statement of facts filed in the Licking County Municipal Court.
When Logan's father was pulled off of him, Logan reportedly stabbed him in the leg with a pocketknife.
By the time the police arrived, the men were on their way to the hospital to receive treatment. Logan was arrested on Monday and ordered not to have violent contact with his father. He was also slapped with a $5,000 bond.
