An over 50 ft. long finback whale was found floating dead in Boston Harbor Sunday, according to The Boston Globe. It’s unknown at this time how the whale died, but it is believed the whale either floated into the harbor, or was pushed in after being struck by a passing boat. The sight of a finback whale carcass in the harbor is both shocking and rare, and officials are hoping to be able to determine the exact cause of death. The tricky part is how to get rid of the carcass since wherever it washes ashore becomes that property owner’s responsibility to dispose of it, and that’s not cheap.

ok only 50 feet, and it is carcass not carcus... lol
