Anyway, only get married IF YOU’RE 1000% you want kids. Marriage (after the 2-3 year honeymoon wears off) is negative Expected Value. I speak from experience. Kids are amazing, however, and you’re smart to want to experience that. You will need to scale way down on Call of Duty when you’re a Dad, though.

What did I do on this fine Saturday married with kids?
Was awoken at 5am with a screaming to get up, listened to the 2 brothers fight over a tablet, wife asked me to do a bunch of shit for her, turned on some cartoons- sorry no game day over here, made them breakfast, went for a walk as a family, gave them baths, had coffee with my wife, both juggled a couple work items, had to clean up a mess from last night by the kids, posted on here briefly, took them to swim class, just got back from swim class, stopped at the grocery store, made them lunch and just now sitting down to eat myself and watch a little football before they get up from their nap that they still haven’t laid down for.... it’s only 12:30pm. I go to bed at midnight every night. No video games, no start to finish football watching, barely have time to handicap or place my bets...I agree with lock.. there is 1000% no point in getting married if you don’t plan on having kids.
