Michael Moore is a proven liar.
No thanks, I'd rather watch a Mama June marathon before I watch Moore's crap.

I hate Michael Moore as many of you know, so give it a shot. It's likely nothing like what you would expect.

look, i can agree with democrats in THEORY

                but life isnt theory

we cant have a perfect life

if you want to save carnivore animals, then some other animal needs eaten

life kinda sucks, it is about suffering

i dont want to listen to a clown talking his theory

                  Moore isn't in the movie.

Give it 10 minutes and you will be hooked. I wanted to hate it but I didn't.

"“Planet of the Humans,” released this week free of charge on YouTube to coincide with Earth Day, argues that replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy is not only a pipe dream, but that solar arrays, wind farms and biomass are doing enormous damage of their own to the environment."

posted on youtube? that blows too

i dont care if i use sun, wind, etc for energy

i didnt choose oil to begin with....infact at a golf course i have to pay more taxes on gas than any fukkin person....yet there are also govt golf courses nearby....talk about a conflict of interest

yes, it is cheaper for me to go buy 400 gallons at a gas station with all of those taxes, than to get it delivered to me

yes, i have to compete with golf courses that are government own, which i pay taxes to compete with

doesnt zammer own a cake shop?

what if the govt popped up a cake shop

im fukkin screwed and noone deals with it except golf courses

no bowling alleys deal with it

supply/demand makes fields like football and baseball nonexistent in the private area

there are no government ran gas stations, grocery stores, or anything

colleges, cities, states, etc have golf courses

                      why should they?

Einstein told us this. "every action has an equal and opposite reaction".

Can't get any sort of energy without some sort of cost.

But it's silly to say wind/tidal/hydro/solar energy has any sort of cost equitable with fossil fuels.

On the up side, fossil fuels are finite. Nature probably balanced so that we could use them all up and she could still come back. Equal and Opposite reaction etc...
                                    .

If we were at some equilibrium maybe, but right now we're completely depleting the fossil fuels and then it'll take a couple of million years (?) for them to replenish.

I must admit this docu opened my eyes on the subject, I thought solar/wind energy was "free", just taking advantage of the nature. That is ofc if Michael Moore is completely honest in the presentation ...

(not Eisenstein) Newtons laws of motion who developed that theory on action has an equal an opposite reaction" . but that is also not what you mean here. you are referring to the laws of Thermodynamics on the creation energy without some cost (ie wasted heat dissipation). anyway good thread here and a good video.

The problem with alternative energy is that they are not nearly as efficient as fossil fuels.
A point the liberal left has trouble with refuting.

A point the liberal left has trouble with refuting.
If even Michael Moore can acknowledge it maybe there's hope for humanity.

My feelings fall on one side of the political spectrum or the other based on what makes sense to me. Always have been. I have changed my stance, flip flopped or evolved on many subjects over the years. I suspect most of us have. No?

Michael Moore. He's obviously a far Left guy. I rarely agree with him on anything. Not by choice or any predetermined agenda, but by what makes sense to me or what doesn't make sense. Also, he usually does have an agenda which I can see pretty easily. This movie shows that even he can face a reality that goes against his base. Heck, he even predicted Trump would win in 2016.

The end of the movie, you can see Moore's Leftist spin on it when he was condemning capitalism. I know that greed isn't exclusive to capitalism. Moore has benefited greatly from capitalism. Governments are just as greedy. I will argue, even more. Which is even worse because they are the ones working for the people and are supposed to protect the country from these scumbags. Not get in bed with them.
