This is a real problem at all restaurants and I'm sick of it

    Stale saltine crackers.

They can only keep other foods for a very limited amount of time but I swear these places order one shipment of saltines every 4 years and never throw them away until they're gone.

Instead of going to a restaurant for crackers, you can buy a box at your local grocery store.

    You're welcome.

Wendy's chili, chic-fil-a salads, most any soup at a dine in restaurant, oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, etc.

Why would you pay for them when they're free?

That was just an alternative to the stale crackers. If free crackers are your thing, enjoy the staleness.

The packet doesn't ensure freshness. They are individually wrapped but stale. Seriously you guys always get fresh crackers?

    Thanks

In fact instead of ever going to a restaurant I could just go to the grocery store for everything so I wouldn't have to worry about getting quality food. Or maybe someone could list the ingredients for saltine crackers and I can grow, harvest, and make my own saltines from scratch.

Or maybe I could just expect food to be edible when I visit a restaurant. Call me crazy

Just to be clear, you're not going to a restaurant. You're going to Wendy's. You're lucky if there's not snot in the chili.

I named one of the "restaurants" that you claimed to get stale crackers.
