Yes but it all depends on your standards, confidence and how hard you are willing to try

The girls out here like girls everywhere are gold diggers so they will always choose the douche with his dads money over the good guys with modest incomes

As for myself I haven't really tried I'm trying to get my financial situation in order before looking for a relationship

On rentals of high rise condo's in the $1000-1500 range, do you think they have much room for negotiation?(if a guy could pay a 12-24 month lease in advance)

Why in the word would anyone want to move to Vegas? Pretty sure that the majority of people that live there really have no other choice. They have to live there, not that they want to. The place is an absolute dump. I would rather live in Riverside, Corona or Bakersfield.

The smell of desperation isn't quite as palpable on the strip as it is off. The place is literally a ghetto that attracts the worst of the worst. God forbid you have to get gas somewhere near the freeway. I'd rather play CA BJ at Hollywood Park.

Vegas certainly is not for everyone BUT I've lived here since '86 and love it. Great weather, low taxes, fantastic restaurants & entertainment and all the conveniences of living in a 24-hour town.

I could see Sinner setting up shop behind the Imperial Palace. He'd be scamming Bobby out of his $5 referral fees by the end of week 1.

    Weather is horrible

    Restaurants are overpriced

Mexicans slapping hooker mags on LVBL

Being accosted by bums at any given time

I carry a knife in Vegas at all times and if I spent more time there I'd look into conceal and carry.

JJ you should move there. Bring a little bit of class.

How exactly is the weather horrible?

Just because it gets over 110 in August, with a little thunderstorm in the evening?

Maybe if your walking the strip all the time you get bother by sh!t, but when you live here, your hardy ever down on the strip.

I've lived here since 1995, and don't plan on moving anytime soon.

Vegas can get old real quick if you just focus on the strip and gambling. I loved living there and look forward to moving back. Great neighborhoods, restaurants and nature to enjoy. At 4 in the morning if you want any kind of food, there are amazing places to eat. When I want the ocean I can hop a SW flight and be in Newport or San Diego in just over an hour.

Miss my favorite restaurants in Vegas just typing this.

Also, an entry level 50k a year job with full benefits in Vegas isn't as bad as some guys are making it out to be. No state income tax is a nice thing.

I committed to 2 years in Macau but the new casino Wynn is building may keep me a little longer due to the mass scale of the project. I'll be back in sates around Thanksgiving until Dec 27th, so I figure to be home in Vegas for a few weeks minimum.

Off strip spots: Raku, KJ Kitchen, Du Forni, Ichiza, Hue Thai, Mastrionis, Parma, Sen of Japan, Naked Fish and Famous Dave's for a cheap BBQ lunch.

Raku is my favorite restaurant in city period.

Vegas will be another city that goes belly up. Who wants to live in the desert and a Condo? Only if you have a death wish like the movie Leaving Las Vegas...Shit they have a water shortage and not the place to be if the SHTF!

My favorite book is the Hard Rock but I usually go to the Palms since its the closest casino to where I live, Hard Rock is a farther drive. Hard Rock is basically a less crowded less riff raff version of the Palms book, too many degens with 2 teeth betting 10 team parlays at the Palms book. And they all seem to know each other. If I am in the mood to go to a strip book(I never bet there, just watch) its usually MGM, Luxor or Mandalay Bay.

That's true, the whole casino and strip experience is meant for a getaway vacation, not a day to day lifestyle. The novelty of having a bunch of casinos around wears off after about a week. If you want to move to Vegas for this type of stuff its a bad idea

you guys have tourist stereotypes... spending too much time on the strip. the strip = adult Disneyland, fun place to visit, horrible place to live. Why would anyone live at MGM. You'd have to walk a mile to get to your car?

desperation? Where did you go? Downtown? Unemployment is sky-high here, but the upside is, the living costs are unbelievable low. Trust me, you can live off 50K in Vegas, a lot of people do.

Vegas, you either love it or hate it. Vegas has been really good to me, and there's tons of perks here (best movie theatres around). I may not stay here forever but when I die, I'll look fondly at my time spent in Vegas.
