    What is the best smartphone that I can use with Verizon?

    I'm going on a 2 month long climbing trip and traveling the western part of the U.S. I want a phone with a good camera, long battery life, and overall easy to use. I tend to abuse my cell phones, so what kind of case should I get to keep it safe?
