Anybody Here Own A Record Player?

My wife just got me one from a yard sale. It feels great to be able to break out the vinyl again.

Playing some Billy Joel right now. Not a scratch on the record. Also has the 2 cassette tape portion on it too.

Enjoy the vinyl my friend, I have a collection of 300 and some 45's, I play them in a "one more time" Wurlitzer Juke Box. It is a replica of the old Wurlitzer 1950's style. Nothing sounds like vinyl.

Thank you, I am sure you will enjoy your old vinyl records. I love them, even if they have a crack or two it seems like they might even add some character to the song. I know that sounds a little weird.

If you want to see one of these juke boxes in action you can at youtube.

Have a great time with those 45's, lots of fun especially if you have an old flame or girlfriend or wife to listen with.

Wife got me one two years ago for Christmas.
It was one of those table top replicas with a cd player and radio.
It looks good sitting in the office and I do play LPs every now and then.

I love my old vinyl records but just recently the needle on my turntable broke. Where do you even find a needle these days? Guess I can probably find one on eBay.

    Chipper

The people that sold me my juke box definitely have needles. I bought mine from a place in Illinois I believe. So just google "One more Time Wurlitzer and a ton of them will appear. Many sell these boxes. Pretty sure you can get what you need from one of them. My model is the only one that plays 45s, most of them now play cds believe it or not.

    Good luck
