    If the motorist refused to submit his identification, the motorist can be arrested and taken to the stationhouse. A summons is in lieu of arrest. In other words, when a person is issued a summons, they are given that summons instead of being arrested- believe it or not

    Every cop I've ever encountered while driving is a complete prikk. One guy pulled me over for speeding (85 in a 70) and then claimed I was on my cell phone texting too b/c he saw light coming up from my lap. I told him that proves nothing and he was like 'well maybe I can just take you to jail.'

    Dumbass. I showed up and contested both and he didn't of course. They're all prikks who could actually be serving society instead of charging a driving tax.

    Sorry but as much as I'd like to side with the driver, he is a bigger asshole that the cops for speeding for no reason. If I was the cop I would have pepper sprayed his ass and taken his camera.
