This thread proves that jibby is nothing but a loud mouth pussy. Gets his vagina twisted over nfl anthem protests but doesn't show a drop of empathy or even lifts one of his bitch fingers to help homeless vets who served our country(unlike him). People like him are what is wrong with America and until we as a society take care of our own we will continue to have shit leaders like trump and his kind.

Talk shit about me but our companies employ homeless veterans in 4 states now and try to get them back on their feet which is a start. Hearing their stories is humbling and sometimes all they need is someone to listen and give them a chance.

Deck is stacked against a homeless person trying to get their life back on track. Not trying to help someone is a character weakness.
    Cry me a river, geezzz..

Man up Gritters for once, tough love works... Your sympathy post only makes matters worse.. Help and enable, make it so easy and appealing more and more become homeless or get on welfare.. Free ride... Same old story with you snowflake lefties...

Arrest the homeless and throw in rehab for 6 months or a mental hospital I say.. That would provide more help to them and maybe fix the root of the problem.. Hand outs are like temporary band aids..

Another lie from this arrogant asshole. So you've actually seen a homeless person getting welfare, by using an address from family. friends or drug dealer? You've interviewed actual homeless people with friends and family who have this kind of access huh? Seems like if they had all that, they wouldn't be homeless in the first damn place. Go fuk yourself with your bullshit lies!

Homes are overrated, tents rock!! ..
You are so fuk'in out of touch with reality it makes me fuk'in sick that you're so god damn stupid! I've never, in my entire life met one person who enjoyed being homeless! "Doing exactly what they want to do?" Sure dumb fuk, life fuk'ed them over and they've hit rock bottom, but according to you, it's a good 'ol fun time being homeless. Try it sometime asshole, and let us know all the great joys you're experiencing.

Double wide, sun roof slip, side windows, etc.... Comfy padding inside next to the needles and pipes on the ash tray....

The meek shall inherit the earth. It's happening..

This is not a tent from a homeless tent city. It's a fuk'in picture you got off google images that somewhere in your fuk'in feeble mind believes that homeless people are living this way. The reality is, most of them cover up with a plastic tarp at night and that's it, you out of touch dumb fuk'in piece of shit!

There is fine line between enabling where life becomes easy and no change is needed as compared to tough love and when real life struggles happens where change is necessary to survive and real progression happens...
I would bet my fuk'in life, you've never given a damn dime to the homeless! You've never walked thru an actual tent city like I have and handed a man a sandwich with tears in his eyes because god only knows the last time he's eaten!

You constantly contradict yourself jibby, which tells me you're just a bold face fuk'in liar! Saying you give money to the homeless and then automatically assuming they use it for drugs, they're lazy, you're "enabling" them and they've found an angle. Oh yeah way to go Einstein, you figured out the great homeless hustle.

I've never once heard you say, "I volunteered to work at a homeless shelter, or I gave away some older clothes I had lying around or I took a homeless man to a barber shop and got him a hair cut." Your lying selfish actions betray you, jibby. You stereotype blacks, minorities, homeless people, immigrants and anyone else who's not like you, into categories of lazy drug users, enabled free loaders, and invaders who are less than human and inferior to you.

By all means asshole, stay in your glass house and let truthful compassionate humans who actually care handle the real issues of life. Keep hiding behind your keyboard and post your racist memes and phony images, Cause that's your ignorant life and all you know.

Your true colors show. Anti-military veteran and anti-American = jibby. When you were going through your “depression” you should have put a gun in your mouth and ended things. World would have been better off without you.

Being homeless isn’t appealing to a majority of those that are. Life circumstances happen and many don’t have the ability to handle it. Be thankful you come from some money because without your mommy and daddy you would be on the streets as well.

Again where did I ever say I don't want to help homeless veterans? Reading comprehension Gritters you are struggling with I see lately.. That's too bad.. Where did I even say I wouldn't be up for helping all the homeless rehabilitate also?

I just don't like seeing more and more homeless tents popping up all over my city.. Something needs to be done in Los Angeles, California.. That is all...

'Being homeless ain't all that great' would make for an equally good thread title.

JIBBERS....its clearly mental illness that is the major cause....go speak with the homeless.....about 10% even know what is going on......and that 10% like you said is in a heroin spiral down...

With a tent you don't pay rent, can do all the drugs you want in a tent late at night.. Churches always have homeless food drives.. Can check into a shelter to shower or clean up. If you feel like crap you just walk into the Emergency hospital and get free healthcare.. Can clean up there.. If they get Government assistance then they really got it good.. If they don't they pan handle all day to support their Alcohol and drug addictions then..

Drugs and laziness are usually the cause to homelessness..

I agree most homeless are mental, many talk to themselves or walk around in a daze.. Now ya gotta ask yourself how did most get that way? Extensive hard drug and or alcohol abuse for year or decades, poor diet and nutrition, mental faculties deteriorate rapidly..

Many would come back with sobriety and proper nutrition though.. Meds as well if needed.. I think all homeless people should be committed for their own good.. Put them in a 90 day program of sobriety and mental evaluation.. A lock down rehab living facility for the homeless. Then offer a work program after 90 days..

That would be a good first step for every homeless person to go through I believe.. Hand outs and Gov. freebies enables and doesn't fix the underlying real problems as to why they are homeless in the first place.

They are mental 100%...like you said in a daze...bipolar, schizo ect....WERE ON MEDS....now off....or vice versa....They simply have mental problems and if combine drug use ...kaBOOM....As far as rebounding them, I agree.....like health ins in general....we treat the symptoms rather than deal with the problem where it starts.....with individual time and attention given to each one....sure many would bounce back....I totally agree there.....

                        That's not me Pauly...

Tackling the homeless problem is very tricky and I was just offering up ideas.. Nothing more.. This homeless problem does need to be addressed as it's a growing problem here in California and only gonna get worse.. That is all..

California soon to look just like the poor areas in Mexico but worse with this homeless problem that's growing.. There goes the neighborhood in other words..
