your first time in vegas? youre going to be blown away. harrahs is a great hotel. ive stayed there several times. you cant beat the location. as far as the food..it all depends on how much you want to spend. you can never go wrong with the buffets though.

Would agree. Decide on your budget first and then look for the best you can get for it.

1st time AND 21... get ready!you will be starstruck, in a good way.a nice buffet is a great choice (Bellagio, Wynn). Stay away from the really cheap ones, the quality of food can be as questionable as the quality of the other customers. In the fall i ate at Lobster ME in the PH mall. if you like lobster (and lobster ice cream), definitely give it a try.Was at Mortons last year and it was a ghost town, although the food was good. They might still of a buffet of buffets ticket where you can buy access to 4/ buffets for 24 hours (i think its the ceasars family)

If you have the money, Cut steakhouse in Palazzo is excellent. Steak is great and the service is impeccable

KGB Burgers in Harrah's is pretty good. Hash House a Go Go next door at Imperial Palace is amazing for breakfast or lunch (huge portions). Victorian Room cafe at Bill's is open 24 hours and it perfect for the 4am munchies. There is a mexican restaurant at Bally's that has $2 tacos during the day and $2 beers.

If you are looking for expensive dinners, try Onda across the street at Mirage or Olives at Bellagio. The Cosmopolitan "Wicked Spoon" buffet is a must try!!!

The nicer the resort, the higher price their food is. Caesar's buffet is pathetic, smallest one I've seen on the strip and it was $30 a person. Mirage lunch is really good, don't remember the exact price, but I'm pretty sure it was over $15, but WELL worth it. For breakfast you can't beat The Flamingo, most reviews will tell you Flamingo breakfast is the tops and I won't argue that one. If you want to save a bit, the More buffet at Luxor is relatively cheap and the food is better than decent. Only place I will encourage you to go is Burger Bar. Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay are all connected via inside walkways, never have to set a foot outside, between Luxor and Mandalay you'll find Burger Bar, very very good food and they have their own beer menu with beer from 100+ countries. It also doesn't cost an arm and a leg (you'll find most places when it comes to eats will cost a pretty penny). For dessert....I can't remember the name but someone here will, it's outside in front of Caesars/Bellagio, forget which one.

Hash a go go for breakfast is fabulous.

People were taking photos of the food when it came out when I was in Vegas 3 months ago.

The LVH had the worst dinner buffet I've ever eaten in my entire life. I literally had to remove the food from my mouth by use of napkins numerous times.

It's a little out of the way, but have always enjoyed
the Buffet at the M Casino. Includes beer and wine
if you care about that stuff. Have a great 21st BD.

The pizza place at the Cosmo is really good, and really popular. If you venture off the strip Ellis Island does BBQ on certain days that are supposed to be awesome and really good prices. The Palms Buffet has all you can drink beer wine, champagne included in their dinner, it's not that expensive maybe $15 for the dinner. If you want an awesome buffet the Encore hooks it up. Lot's of really highly rated places off the strip for awesome food. PM me if you want to know some of the off the strip places.

Thank you guys for all the suggestions I've been reading from random websites as well, but you guys are by far better reviews.

I'm taking $4500 in cash to spend on drinks/food/gambling so I'd rather spend the extra 4-5$ for a better buffet thanks again.

Flying out of O'Hare next thursday can't wait I've been waiting for this trip for a while now.

The steak that's off menu at Elis Island is actualyl very good and it's dirt cheap, comes with potato and beer as well.

Free advice you can ignore (most people HATE this idea), but if its your first time, try to go the first 12-24 hours without gambling anything. sounds crazy but theres plenty of time to lose money.walk around and see everything, drink, get `dances`but wait a little on the gambling if you can. nothing worse than starting off a trip losing. You cant lose if you start off with a couple of drinks and a couple of implants in your face... body break!

Trust me I'm going to limit what I spend each day now I just have to have the fukkin discipline to stick by it if things go bad

I've been planning this for a while and was only going to take round 2k but have been hot lately and decided to cash out at a book so should make this birthday one to remember. Now that I have an idea of how much just food will cost it will help, the drinks is what I have a feeling will rack up fast probably faster than I expect.

also remember besides food, drinks and gambling...you have to have some cash for tips, cab rides, door fees at clubs, and shows if youre going to see anything. when youre gambling, make sure you tip at least $1 per drink. ive seen a few guys over the years not give the waitress anything and it gets ugly very fast.

Skip all of the buffets. They are for people who wear fannypacks. Hash House is great for breakfast. Never been to the one in IP as the place is a shithole. Get the chicken and bacon filled waffles. You'll be full all day. There are plenty of great restaurants on the strip. If you want to have a fun night, eat at Lavo or Tao and hang at club afterwards. Ask for Joey and Zoie to take care of you. 2 of the funnest girls in city. They won't sleep with you but they will get you a ton of potential girls to try.

KM- next time you are in Vegas make reservations and go catch a cab to eat at Raku. It will be your favorite spot in Vegas. Keller of Bouchon eats there every time he is in Vegas to see how his place is doing.

Cant remember the name of it but the steak house in Bills Gambling Saloon is very good - old school and great cuts of meat.

The Strip House in PH is good as well - my wife still doesnt believe its a good joint!
