But even if it does, it doesn't result in a net positive affect in your life.

Small gov't is one of those things guys love to preach about, it's an ideology, but they don't understand what small gov't even means or what it looks like, or why no standing president in any of our lifetimes has actually made gov't smaller

You're right that we had year if Bush expanding plus Homeland security juggernaut that started more surveillance inward under him and so on but got worse under Obama. If Trump doesn't do it right I'll be in here calling him out for it but so far I like his moves and what they signal

If you recall Trump had mentioned that he was pro government organization reform. Makes perfect sense that he appoint head officials that oppose the establishment. For instance, Trump is on record for saying that wants a minimum wage increase, however, he wants the states to control their own minimum wage rate. I hope he actually comes through on reestablishing the balance of state power while reducing federal programs, control.

Question for anyone who thinks of themself as a neo-progressive: how can you support an open border policy and be against building "the wall"? Which is really a buildup of border control that would reduce crime and terrorism. (when you support a party that wants the federal government to regulate everything from how much soda one drinks to methane release of cows.) That doesn't make any sense to me.

A good man but simply over matched. Trump is a 70 year old billionaire businessman executive that understands business, taxes and trade. Maybe you should give him a chance? Who knows you may be like me and change parties.

Hope you didn't invest in TransCanada thinking you'll get s stock bump from their earnings building XL or Phase 4. It'll be an expense on their balance sheet. They only hire smaller services companies to do the project so that's where the profits show up at.

Shovel ready was like a shark tank episode wanting to invest in a stupid concept because the person proposing it has no idea how to do it. Trump...is s master as real estate and construction so people know it'll work this go around.
