    The Hungry-Man tv dinner should be renamed Hungry-Child

    I just ate one of these. Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and cranberry dessert.

    I'm still fukkin hungry, there should be twice the amount of turkey and three times the amount potatoes and corn.

    Gonna have to out and grab a burger.

    Lies in the food industry? I see a beautifully put together burger on TV from Wendy's, but then if I go pick one up, it is 1/3rd the size, smashed, and it looks like whoever put it together was blind....

    K13, when I'm eating alone a large pizza is ordered. Usually a couple slices leftover for snack the next day. Medium isn't enough. Guess we don't have to weigh 300 to have a big appetite.

    I agree those things are soo small. For the price of them, one should get a meal, not a snack. Hell one is better off buying a few pot pies.

    You guys actually like this stuff? TV deals are seriously bad for you, the amount of fat and sodium in these meals is insane. It's a fast track to major health issues if you have this stuff on a regular basis.

    Agreed, not good for the health check. Won't be on the grocery list, I won't look in that section at the store to be tempted by the succulent turkey slices on the package.

    I recommend the fresh food section. it's really not too hard to whip up something yourself which is healthy and would taste shirtloads better.

    LOL I almost started a thread on here last year after a friend of a friend did a thing comparing the two.

    A few pics (and the intro blurb)

    "So I went to some fast food places (I won't say restaurants, just places) and picked up burgers & tacos so I could compare them with the ads. I brought the "food" home (different stuff over 3 nights), tossed it into my photography studio and did some ad-style shoots (with pics of the official ads on my computer next to me so I could match the lighting, angles, etc.)

    The Whopper kills me
