A new Vegas cottage industry, buy expensive booze bottles from casino to sell on E-bay

There are thousands of bars in Vegas casinos and they throw away the best of the best top shelf empty booze bottles by the tens of thousands every day.Why not tell the casinos you will give them 25 cents each for them to give to charity. And also tell them it's an environmental green deal where they are doing a good deed not having them end up in the garbage dump.

So in tough economic times even yuppies that network and schmooze and entertain by having parties at home want to economize by buying a $7 a litre house brand of brandy or whiskey and put it in an empty $50 a bottle brand. You can save the expensive brand bottle and do this trick over 30 times before the bottle starts showing wear.No one is any wiser that you fooled them and if they do think the booze tastes cheap, they assume their taste buds all faltering from all the eating of spicey foods they have been eating lately.

I'm not sure if E-bay lets you sell expired empty booze bottles but you could set up your own web page store to sell them.

There has to be a hitch or flaw in this endeavor where it wouldn't succeed much the same way Kramer and Newman's driving of recyclable bottles from New York to Michigan ended in disaster.Maybe tax stamps on bottles would break a law if they were transported out of state and such?

not sure this would be safe or legal.. but as far as recycling goes. u cannot turn in a bottle for the cents back on deposit unless u are a legal resident of the state that accepts the bottles for deposit. so if u live in ohio and try to cross into michigan and returns bottles and they ask for ur drivers license and it says ohio. u will be fined hefty.. and could be prosecuted into the 50k range if they wanted to throw the book.
