Meat is always part of my diet. If the movie, "Super Size Me" didn't change me about how I feel of McDonalds and their Big Macs, then nothing can convince me.

cutting back, on meat, but only for health concerns.
If God didn't want us to eat animals, he wouldn't have made them out of juicy meat....
seriously, I do try to get free range meats and cage free eggs ect.
my Wife is a vegetarian for the above cruelty reasons, but she'll eat meat a few times a year if I or another family member shoots something whilst hunting... she has no issues with hunting

I eat all kinds of meat. Although I will never eat an animal that has a personality. Monkeys, Dogs, dolphins, whales, tigers, and the like are not even options for my self.

I saw a special last night on news about Pink Slime. It was speaking about a meat industry whistlblower who said that the industry mixes this shhit in do the extra lean hamburger meat at store.
I am not currentley vegan or even vegetarian but have jumped aboard a few times and went str8 to the extreme of raw vegan(which in my opinion is the cure all and absoluteley hardest diet to do but is absolutely perfect..... VERY HARD TO STAY ON THOUGH)

I mean I might feel a bit of stupid guilt if I watch a documentary or news story, but by and large.....
they are animals and we are at the top of the food chain 99.999% of the time....and for a reason.

By the way that is me making raw vegan steak fries. They actually had crunch just like fries and put paprika on them. Fools the eyes which fools the stomach to an exstent

Humans are not cows, we need high quality protein and plenty of folic acid and vitamin 12. Many vegans end up having a signifficant loss of muscle mass and vitamin defficiency. Life expentancy might be lower that people with healthy diets. Vegan diets are difficult to follow as a practical thing. If done keep it to your self or many jerks as myself will try to make fun of you.

If you read about it you will find that many famous vegetarians and vegans died of degenerative disease of the nervous system. There is a book about all the people alive and prety healthy over 110 years old (450 people found) none was vegetarian or vegan

Cut down in animal meat to one or two serving a day and take some supplement of high quality protein as isolated whey protein. If you care more about chikens that your self stop reading my posts and dont eat chicken.

But you cant murder anything not human. End of story.
Most of the stuff people eat is raised specifically for food. So if it werent going to be eaten it wouldnt exist in the first place. Wild animals and birds are exceptions but were put here for a reason.
My wife is a vegetarian and she has all kinds of problems. No coincidence if you ask me.
But also a big difference between real meat and fast food garbage. Even when you get meat from a butcher you have to watch out these days. So many hormones and chemicals and steroids in shit nowadays its scarey. So while you need meat you have to be particular about how much of the 'bad' kind you eat.
As far as animals that are pets, over half the world eats dog and cat meat, a lot also eat horse meat. Mostly because it is cheap and low in fat. But Americans dont get it. So strictly a social judgement and nothing to do with biology.
