yes, you need to buy the HDMI cable, but do NOT buy the expensive ones Best Buy try to push on you they're a scam. buy one for very cheap there - they're very good quality: http://www.monoprice.com/

also, how far away from the tv will you be sitting? if it's 8 feet or more away, you need at least a 47" to 55" tv, preferably 55".

the only place a 32" should go is in the kitchen or in a cramped dorm room.

most people are looking for 55" to 70" tv's these days as high-def tv is best viewed on larger displays to reap the full benefits.

Yeah 32 is kitchen size strictly, how you gonna enjoy sports on that? 60" is where it's at, in your bedroom - 3 feet away.
TV's are cheap as chips now days anyway, better off getting something decent, its worth it.

HDMI Cables are required, $5 Online or buy the cheap $20 in store if you can't wait

Look for a Sharp, LG . Avoid Sony, Toshiba

If u game or watch sports, pick a TV with a lower response time MAX 5ms

Yes get HDMI...off Amazon/monoprice wherever...just buy them online instead of the store.

I'd go into a Costco or Sams Club and just look at the TV's in your price range...Pick out whatever one looks best to you, of course you'll have a terrible time deciding which is best, because there will be a few that all look better at one point then you'll say another one looks better....But once you get home and it's the only TV in the room, you'll be happy.

If you have a hhgregg near you, they are pretty cheap, and that's where I picked my last one up...But also check Amazon, I've ordered 2 from there, and they both arrived without a problem...Amazon can have some decent prices as well + no tax and most likely free shipping.

On 32" tv's, those two company's use older panels that are between 7-9ms response time. And yeah Sony tends to charge more too.
