    Mayan just do me one favor
    You have nothing to lose

    Next time you train legs. Warmup in the squat or leg press. Then warmup in the leg extension. Do 1 set to failure in the leg extension and then with very little rest do one set to failure in the squat or leg press. Warmup sets could be anywhere from 2 to 5 warmup sets depending on strength. Aka pyramid warmups.

    No 2nd set . then one set to failure in the leg curl and then calves.
    4 total working sets.

    Why? When you squat first you hit failure not because of your quads, hams, etc but because of your knees usually, back, etc.

    If you do leg extensions first , after you do the leg press or squat , you will hit failure on your last rep because of your quads, and this stimulates muscular growth. Finally a real lift.

    No 2nd set needed because there is no such thing as gaining extra strength or extra muscle. Once growth is stimulated, it cannot be stimulated anymore than what it is.
    Use no force or momentum.

    Come back with me with your results. Might even be the best leg pump you have ever had.

    TT, I have tried all that low sets crap.. I doesn't work for my legs...

    My quads/hams need at least 32 sets and up.. No less..

    mayan you did not do hit training, aka one set to failure with pre exhaustion with good form. Sorry i know u didnt

    sets do not stimulate growth, its the rep and the way you do it and once growth has been stimulated any more sets
    is overtraining and counter productive.

    Ive tried 95% of all methods, HIT, doggcrapp, Fst-7, etc.. And high volume works great for my body..

    Every body is different..

    bodybuilding is trial and error..
