Somebody wanna take my account off of this stupid delayed server that I have been on for 3 months???????

I have concerned posters sending me PM's asking me for my advice on the safety of their funds with certain books and I am practically unable to help them because it takes me 15 minutes to respond to their PM's after me being redirected to the home page 5 times or getting the " the server is busy try again later" notice.

    WTF?

I am sorry for criticizing SBR for their differentiating treatment of books dependent on their business affiliation with SBR.

Is this site here to review sportsbooks and allow players to share their experiences with these offshore sportsbooks and look out for each other? or is this site strictly just here to make money and following theRX motto of censoring anyone who does not agree with everything SBR says?

every day SBR moves a bit further from what their bread and butter was in the beginning.

but its their right to move towards a different model and product.

I do think the censorship is a bit disturbing...

    good luck sharpy

Any mods want to come in here and at least supply a reason why my account is on this delayed server?

The solution is to start saying nice things about the shitty CR based books that pay for good reviews with affiliate dollars.

    BetIslands is the best!

Yeah, usually posters with signup dates after 2009.

(NO, I'm not referring to you, I'm just generalizing - guys that have been here from the early days know better).

pointing out sbr hypocrisy with tackleberry complaint against 5dimes and cory## against easy street..

sbr quietly sided with five dimes stiffing takleberry, then hammered easystreet for doing the same to cory##

SBR sides with players and books by settling disputes a couple of dozen times every week.

We will slow guys down who are working angles, getting freeplays or directly employed by the scam or just feel the call of the wild and are amused by encouraging players to send money to scams. They are free to discuss the facts but once that crosses into promoting a scam then they should set up their own website and buy their own bandwidth.

You left out blindly siding with sponsor books. There is far more complaints on this forum about BetOnline or 5dimes then easystreet. I think that is all that guy was pointing out. Agree or disagree I think he made some valid points and had a good argument. Where was the Justin7 vid on the 5dimes complaint? Sbr lost considerable respect as a player advocate the way they simply tired to sweep that under the rug. IMO

I hate scammers the same as anyone else, but I don't see how that applies here? Maybe I missed something

SBR is a business why would they rule against or talk bad about one of their biggest sponsors seriously if easy street wanted a favorable ruling they should of paid and it's that simple. Walker needs his cash why else could he provide us with all the freebies and contests.

If they are not prepared to do that then 'rulings' against non-sponsor books have no meaning and no credibility.

I note that one Euro book (Betsson) was recently downgraded for confiscating funds due to chip dumping in their poker room. SBR recently sided with Betonline in a similar case despite not being provided with hand histories.

Long before betpoints and freebies, SBR was seen a credible "Sports Book Review" site.

We settle dozens of complaints every week and have for many years. The same few chronic cynics say year after year SBR is on the take or too hard on scams and not hard enough on the good books or sponsors. Comes with the territory.

Bottom line is we are not going to allow guys to promote a scam book for a free play or for any reason. They cross the line of debating facts and into promotion they will be slowed. If they want to promote Lazerwager, synbet or easystreet they should open their own website.

My comments were not specific to Sharpcat or EZStreet, if any poster is promoting a scam it is, of course, right that you take actions to stop unsuspecting posters from being lured in.

On the question of SBR being completely objective in its ratings and handling of disputes, I can only reference and comment on my own observations.

You must be thinking of someone else as I have never endorsed a single book in my life as I have never had a need to claim a petty freeplay. I play with over a dozen sportsbooks currently and have had my limits slashed or am on a 30 second delay at damn near every single one of them, I do not need to beg for freeplays Jon.

I stood up for Easystreet when they were attacked for only 1 complaint and still to this day only have one compliant ever filed against them. Cory has a very shady history and although Easystreet was not able to prove it beyond a doubt that he used a bot, I have no doubt in my mind that Cory used a bot.

I defended Sportsbetting.ag several times when SBR was pointing out every single petty complaint that is filed against them before even contacting the book about the dispute. All of which I assume were resolved as we never heard anything from SBR again.

I made it a point to critique SBR when you helped 5dimes mug Tackleberry after Tony tried to set the payout chart to +EV on a game that had an extremely high variance which required a player to play thousands of hands before his edge would finally start to build up. Knowing Tony and his history I have no doubt that he did this intentionally thinking that no one would have the patience or the bankroll to overcome the streaks of losses on this game and he was wrong so SBR helped bail him out.

I critiqued SBR for their failure to downgrade Betonline after I and many other players experienced severe delays in payouts and Betonline withheld several winning poker players balances and accused them of chip dumping yet never provided a lick of proof. SBR never made mentioin of any of this on the SBR newswire until many posters raised their voices about this, and even then still buttered up the newswire so that it did not sound bad.

As a player who realizes the importance of have many outs to play at I will always put up resistance when people try to discredit a decent book and destroy their reputation when there is not enough reasons to warrant such action.

******And lets not talk about endorsing stiff books Jon as SBR has endorsed their share of stiff books. WSEX and Betonsports come to mind.

yeah you should not come to sbr when you have a dispute with one of their sponsor books. you should go to another site.

relying on sbr to give a fair ruling is like expecting congressmen to vote on legislation against a corporation when the lobbyist are giving all the money.

With your recommendations I can see why.

Here are Sharpcat's top rated books.

    1) Sportsbetting
    2) Sportsbook
    3) Easystreet

    http://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sportsbook...sbooks-p4.html

I do agree with you BetOnline should be downgraded, and easystreet possibly may or may not be getting a bad rap. But the fact that you would steer inexperienced players to these 3 books listed above (especially a borderline scam shop like sportsbook) over 5Dimes, Betislands, Bookmaker, Legends, DSI, or 10 other credible books for US players just proves you're a complete shill or a total retard....or quite possibly both.

Up his delay time to 24 hours John

And lets not talk about endorsing stiff books Jon as SBR has endorsed their share of stiff books. WSEX and Betonsports come to mind.
To correct you, we never recommended BetOnSports. With regards to WSEX not every company stays at the top, not in any industry much less this one. Moving on to the BOL complaint, feel free to go to Sportsbookreview.com and search BetOnline. That complaint is both in the database and it was published on the front page as well. As I recall it was settled by the book paying in full. That's considerably different than your book stiffing a player for $46,000.

We may not do enough to please everyone on every single issue, every day but we do the best we can.
