Any validity to what she was saying?

i moved from chicago to new orleans and dont regret it.

the midwest is boring and cold. i second the guy about toronto, tho i only visited there never lived there.

i lived in atlanta for a few months and that was kinda cool. but i love love love here in new orleans/the deep south. the way of life is just so different down here compared to anywhere else. ppl down here know how to enjoy life.

since your driving, I don't know any places where you can legally bet sports, other than Vegas, and you have already lived there. However, St. George, Utah is sunny, in a nice spot, and is close to Vegas. Not sure what the women look like down there, I know it's a popular tourist destination.

I grew up in LA Loved it.Just too much traffic cant go anywhere with out traffic.Moved To Phoenix hated it city is laid out poorly and 150 degrees in Summer.Ended up in Iowa because of a JOB.Really laid back here no traffic.Just very slow rents and houses are very cheap.Weather sucks even though it is Late Dec and no snow on ground none in forecast for next 10 days.Saving money was a Pro Horseplayer for 10 years in Phoenix. What about South Florida.Lots of sun women and all 4 sports. That is where im moving too maybe by 2014 after i sock some away.Palm Springs area in SO CAL im thinking somewhere in that area too.

Hear Austin is awesome. Texans love to gamble on sports and have heard from people that you can bet at certain local corner stores in Dallas. Austin is probably similar.
Also, Denver seems pretty sweet. underrated city. New Orleans if you're into the music. Charlotte, NC also seems like a great place. Got to love the basketball love in North Carolina.
Portland Oregon is where 20 year olds go to retire. If you like white "liberal" girls and indie music it is pretty much the perfect place.

Totally understand what you're talking about in regards to saving money in Vegas. Spent $400 last night so easily. Not even that wild of a night. I'm probably moving after March madness. Vegas is great, but some of the aspects of this town are ******....

Portland, Oregon. Can't you make sports bets in Oregon? ( i think they are one of the few that allow it). Also you don't have to pump you gas and you there is no state sales tax.

If not Portland, how about New Jersey? (think Atlantic City)

Girls love it in Texas because girls love the heat/sun. So if you don't mind that, then it might be worth it.

    Jersey sucks.

We have shitty weather in the winter, some of the most expensive insurance prices, rent is god damn high in many parts compared to the rest of the US. I've lived in Jersey all my life and if it wasn't for my business and that it would set me back 100 years to restart my accounting practice in another state, I would of moved out of here years ago.
