    You need to sit down with an attorney asap. Fork out the cash for a one hour consultation. Even if your plan is to try to work things out with her, you need to know what your options are. Every state has different laws. In some states, having evidence of infidelity goes a long way and in others divorce is a 'no fault' issue where everything is divided 50/50. Some states also have laws or precedents that can work against you if you move out of the house prior to legal separation. It's just best to know where you stand legally.

    whether its your phone or not, get that text log. If its hers tell her to get it or gtfo, but odds are you are not going to like what you see.

    Just me but a married woman/man shouldn't be making "close" friends of the opposite sex after marriage, that is not ok.

    CarrierIQ has contracts with phone manufacturers and carriers and applies to their use only, not between the carrier and their customer. That said, what I've seen about it from super respectable people in digital security, is some scary shit.
