Went to see it last night. It was very, very funny. The sequel didn't have any memorable one-liners though. I was hoping they would bring back C-bass.

I would have rather seen a new Ace Ventura movie.

There is a new Joe Dirt Movie in the works.

Also a new Vacation movie coming out next year. Lot of well known names attached to that one.

Carrey seems like he may overdo it in this one when the original was believable at times at the stupidity.

Haven't seen in though, that's just how the commercials make it appear.

Saw it last night, awful movie. The first one will never be topped, but this one seemed like they shot it in a week. Lame jokes, stupid gags. I was uncomfortable at one point of how awkwardly not funny it was

Jim Carrey got $7 million, due to the rising popularity of Ace Ventura.
They originally offered Carrey $50,000, but waited too long!

Movie was a waste of time. Some funny parts, but they tried too hard. Save your money.

If you would have stayed right through to the end of the Credits, you could have seen C-Bass.

i keep reading these bad reviews so i am not excited to see it...

i havent been to a movie theater in a long time... i litterally have only been 3 times since that movie theater shooting.

BUT... are there any comedies out right now that you would recommend?

Well the blavk guy was outside the gas station with the bootlegs and i bought dumb and dumber to for $5 and watched it last night. Not as good as the first but it was still funny as hell. Also the quality of the bootleg was pretty damn good for $5
