    Get a fixed immediate annuity with some of it, so you can have a mini trust fund for yourself. Couple hundred a month to mess around with. Ten-year term or five-year term. The interest rates aren't high, but the alternative is blowing it all. This creates the structure to discipline your spending. Take the other half and get your housing straight.
