    Anyone here ever...

Hike the entire appalachian mountains? I am thinking about giving it a go. Looks like a life changing experience to say the least.

A dude I know hiked almost the entire Appalachian trail. He says it's one of the experiences that fuking sucked while he was doing it but now when he looks back he's glad he did it.

    Watch out for ticks/lyme disease.

I don't know where you live but check out the Pacific Crest Trail. Goes from Mexican border to Canadian border. A lot of folks just do a section called the John Muir Trail.
