Is gambling good for your health?

    I think it is.

1)Get exercise running from bookie and walking through the casino
2)Active sexual life because of access to hookers and barreled in related favors
3)Mental health issues seem less glaring in comparison to people in casino environment
4)Gambling enables you to traverse trying personal issues. Grandma died? What's the spread on next Eagles game? Lost your job? Roll them dice. Wife left you? Have a comped beer from the sportsbook on the house.
5)3-4 month vacation every couple of years for rehabilitation. I mean Brock Landers doesn't look a day over 60.
6)Lots of social interaction. Complain about bad beats to fellow gamblers. Exchange cultural experiences with Asians and Greeks.
7)Fosters spirituality. Lots of prayer for that next flip of a card and you can adopt Buddhist philosophies when you go broke to deal with crushing poverty.

I mean if you think about it is there really any reason not to gamble??????

If you get nervous or anxious because of a bet then that's not good for you. That is called stress the silent killer. But in gambling you always sweat it out unless you bet chump change. So don't believe it when they tell you that nothing happens to you.

Look at jjgold. This is what chronic gambling will do to someone's life. Become obese, bald, asexual with a 2" pecker. Smoking like a chimney and eating junk food all the time while being disconnected to the real world. Only way of keep living and not jumping from a bridge is the ability to be a paid poster at a gambling forum and get paid in smokes, twinkies and freeplays at books to fuel his addictions.

It's good if your winning consistently, which I can honestly say on 10% of SBR is capable of that.

I don't gamble over my head anymore, so it's doesn't really affect me except the occasional bad beats, that will cost me to lose some sleep on an early morning work day.

Stress from betting increases heart rate and improves metabolism as a result.

Will get you gray hair quick son, and no it doesn't increase your heart rate. It increases your blood pressure, which leads to heart attacks and a certain fatal death

Gambling has probably taken a good 5 years off of my life. All depends on the person. For me....I would say I handle things a little better now but overall....not good for health.
