Are any of the SBR mongers in? I will be arriving either the 15th or 16th of October and leaving the following Saturday. Haven't made any plans just want to know if anyone else is in. I don't need a wingman but company is always welcome. If SBR will throw a BBQ lunch I will certainly head out there for an afternoon. Burgers are fine no need for dogs.....

Agreed. Looking at heading towards Limon and Puerto Vjero (sp?) Atlantic side this time. Will spend at least 4 days in San Jose.

Hit me up when you get into town. Nothing to see in Limon, but Puerto Viejo is a really chill sleepy beach town that you'll like. Good time to visit there as well, since it's not rainy season in the caribe in September/October.

I wish too opie..... still remember sitting under the umbrella trying not to get wet drinking beer at the Marriott. I am used to travelling alone and it doesn't bother me. Must not be too common because I get asked a lot why I am travelling alone.

I always wing it alone a broad, esp. in non-pick up, everyday environments. (i.e. for you n costa: the beach, grocery store, souvenir shops) When I go out to clubs/bars in CR, I don't go to actively look for girls--well local girls that is--, but I will go with the flow and take the chance if an opportunity presents itself. All the locals--ticas, in your case--in clubs/bars, will immediately assume you are some horny "gringo" looking for an easy lay (we all know you are, but hurts the chances).. haha Best to get introductions out of the way during the day, makes it easier to approach her and company later in the clubs and offer a round of drinks/shots.. whateva.. Anyways enjoy Bro!

Had a change of plans, flights are now confirmed so this will be a go. I hit San Jose on November 9th at 12:30 or so and I will be leaving on November 15th at 1:30. I need to check with Bill as he will be in Costa Rica I just don't know if he'll be at his place or out in Jaco. But work scheduling dictated the change.
