Schenn is fine. If this were a normal season and the team was scoring with consistency, no one would be saying anything bad about him. Voracek on the other hand, along with Giroux, Couturier, Timonen, have been horrible.

What a shame too, since for the first time in a long time, goaltending is not an issue for the Flyers.

Schenn is developing nicely. In a couple years that kid is going to a beast of a forward.

Couturier on the other hand, he's great defensively but completely clueless on offense. The last time he scored a goal was April 15, 2013. That's 24 games and counting since he last scored a goal.

Giroux is a total failure as a captain. A hockey captian has to be a true leader in every respect. Giroux isn't.

Berube is a clueless coach. A complete joke. He scratches Luke Schenn for 3 straight games in favor of Hal Gill. A street pylon is more effective than Gill. Kimmo Timonen is done. He is flat out finished.

The team D is looking much better though. If the offense can get going with the way they are playing defense, this team could be a motherfukker to play against. Again though, a lot depends on if the offense can get going.

I think we may also see a trade very soon. Too many rumors about trades that involve us going around. One of them has to be true.

yo, mr mush....ill be at tony lukes before the game tomorrow if youd like to stop in and say "hi"...or if youd care to recommend a fine eatery for me and the wife id be happy to patronize it and save you a seat....

I have seats for the Cadillac grille but heard some chitty reviews about crappy chops of meat. figure ill stick with the ol standby...roast pork with the sharp provo and the broccoli rabe

unless of course you have a suggestion there south filly swami.....lol.

No problem, pal. First I would say to you is, don't go to Tony Luke's for roast pork. If you want the best roast pork in the city, there's a place not too far from Tony Luke's actually, called John's Roast Pork.

It's on the corner of Weccacoe and Snyder Ave. just across the street from Snyder Plaza. Ask for a large pork with sharp and spinach. Best pork sandwich in existence, comes from a very old Italian recipe they use and will not share the secret.

If you want a restaurant to take the wife, since you seem to like Tony Luke's and I know you'll love John's I am assuming you really like Italian food.

Therefore, I will make some excellent recommendations for you and your lady to have a phenomenal night out. If money is no object, and it shouldn't be since you are making money at my expense by fading me daily, then I recommend the best restaurant in the city, Vetri.

Mario Batali called it the best restaurant on the East Coast. He's right, it is. Their Tasting Menu is $155 a person.

Other restaurants I recommend are Osteria, Le Virtu, Tre Scalini, L'Angolo, La Famiglia, Monsu. Of those, Le Virtu, Tre Scalini, L'Angolo, and Monsu are in South Philly if you want to stay local and not bump into any of the "criminal element" you and your lady might bump into in Center City.

Have fun at the game and congrats on making a mint at my expense so far.
