    I see condos, shopping centers, and cemeteries all over that place in about 4 years. Also, we can utilize the swamp area for a state of the art wind farm and sell the power back to the end user at a premium.

    I should. Bought and flipped a house there when they were first built. Cleared a nice profit. Right now it is a dead spot they are trying to turn around. Better areas of land to buy and develop up near Red Rock.

    Theres some deals to be had out there now. Lake Las Vegas was all about high dollar luxury living 5 years ago. $500 a sq foot homes, $200 greens fees, high end shops. Then 2 of the 3 golf courses closed, the hotel closed, casino closed. Now, you can get a house for a steal and have the lake to yourself. Its even starting to come back a little now. Someone reopened the hotel under another name and the casino reopened slots-only a few months ago. The 45 min or longer drive from the strip makes it highly undesirable to me though.
