    Suicide Next Door

    The guy who lives next door to me blew his brains out in the garage. Its sad he has a wife and a young boy and a young girl. Very Very sad time here in Jersey, guy was like a second father to me!

    Thats fukked up man....Guy mustve had issues that he felt couldnt share with anyone else...Did he have life insurance with a suicide clause or do u know if his families financial situation was dire?? Condolences buddy

    sucks, was reading the local paper where I grew up in maine and saw my cousin had been shot by his drunk buddy. He survived it though. Pretty weird no one called me to tell me though. really surprising these things dont happen more often.

    you have to have mercy for a soul with pain whether they have children or not. It didn't mean that the guy doesn't love his kids. Maybe he thinks that they're better without him in their lives

    OR maybe he was just a coward? How can 2 young kids be better off without there parent or to see there Dad take his own life in there own home?

    Sorry to hear it jersey

    Tough to fault the guy. Who knows what goes through someone's head to make them end their life. You only get one shot at life and I couldnt imagine being so down and out to give it away. Must have been in serious pain for whatever reason.

    Oh, of course. People who are in pain for any number of infinite reasons are always thinking with such logic, that's why they kill themselves, right?

    You're not important enough for me to lecture you, but just know that you are very ignorant (not necessarily an asshole) on the issue of suicide/depression, on which there are tons of resources you've either never looked at or failed to understand. Get out of your bubble, b/c people will indeed assume you are an asshole (as opposed to just ignorant, as I am being gracious enough to assume) for spouting such naivete.

    I grew up without my father and he was/is still alive.

    To me that is worse than a father who commits suicide.

    Only bad thing is the kids might blame themselves. And this is something they have to live with forever.
