The Hawks can try a few things as they head into Game 4. At times, their power play can resemble a basketball team that does nothing but stand along the perimeter and pass the ball, waiting for someone to shoot. That is likely to change.
"Our entries have been pretty good, we've been getting the puck in the zone probably as well as you want, but when we do get there, we can probably have a little more movement," Kane said. "Once we get shots through, hopefully we can create some traffic."
Right now, though, all the power play is creating is consternation.
"(The Blues) like to put a lot of pressure on you," Kane said. "The biggest thing is to try to move the puck quick and get our shots through and create some havoc at the net. … All the ideas are right, but the production really hasn't been there, so we'll try to pick that up."
•Blues coach Ken Hitchcock declined to give an update on the condition of captain David Backes and said he would address Backes' availability Wednesday before Game 4.

nice!!! lets add st. louis hasnt won a game in chicago since october of last year. since then, the hawks have gone a perfect 3-0 against the blues in the windy city outscoring them by a 10-2 margin and 27-7-7 record at the united center in the 2013-14 regular season including a 2-0-1 mark against the blues during the five-game season series. lets go hawks!!!
