USA = Pathetic. Ranks #50 in Worldwide Life Expentancy By Country In Latest Numbers

    https://www.cia.gov/library/publicat.../2102rank.html

    That's right, 50th.

Chances are you'll live longer if you're from former war torn Bosnia and Herzegovina, nearly bankrupt Greece and San Marino (population 32,000) than if you live in the United States.

The USA barely edged out countries like Costa Rica, Cuba, Albania and Kuwait.

Isn't the USA supposed to be the greatest nation on earth? Life expectancy is a solid indicator of standard of living, so why is it that American ranks #50 in this category?

What's happened to the Good Ole' USA?

Everybody knows the USA is the laughingstock of this planet, but is it really turning into a shithole this fast?

Epic fail. It has more to do with personal choice and lifestyle in developed countries, not standard of living you moe-ron.

How is life expectancy a good measure of standard of living?

Spending even more years wearing a diaper, crapping yourself, depending on others is a positive measure of standard of living?

This is from the website itself "Life expectancy at birth is also a measure of overall quality of life in a country and summarizes the mortality at all ages".

At first, I didn't agree with it, but it seems to make sense. Quality of life could be considered as people being happier, in better shape, etc... I don't think it should just be the richest countries = highest life expectancy, (although the Top 5 countries on the list are extremely wealthy)

have you ever been in a forreign country? greatest nation that is unreal. even a lot of americans can't show european countries on the world map altough supposing US is the greatest country. I' sorry but if most americans belive that, US would be a big Thruman Show...San Marino is already better than a lot of european countries. do you have a any idea about San Marino?
can you show it on the map?
US citizens eat genetically modified food and fastfood how do you expect a good place in this ranking?

Capitalism and freedom have made us fat. Other countries would be as fat as us if they had a 5 fastfood restaurants on every corner. Its almost impossible not to eat this shit when its right in your face and so cheap. Being fat use to be a sign of wealth, now in america its a sign your poor.
