    I hate the following just eating them on their own: pecans, walnuts, and almonds. Now here is the weird part, my favorite pie is pecan pie, my favorite candy bar is Hersheys with almonds, and I like walnuts in my ice cream, I can't figure it the fk out, been this way all my life.

    I tend to avoid a combination of any nuts and cream in my mouth...personal preference

    On a serious note though, black walnut ice cream or pistachio pudding is pretty tasty

    i love all kinds of nuts. almonds, pecans, roasted, peanuts. the best ones are aged and slightly salty. they go down real good with beer.

    i've heard of black walnut icecream, but i've never had it...how does it taste?

    Pretty much a vanilla with a pecan/granola after taste is the best way I can express. It's not overwhelming or anything with the walnut taste.
