not a movie, but if you haven't (and you probably have) read 'World War Z' by Max Brooks, you really need to do that.

i've been hearing rumors about a movie, production's starting, brad pitt's involved, they're rewriting the script, blahblahblah for years now. hope they could do it with some money behind it, would be epic.

anyhow, if you haven't read that book, you don't know how good zombie books/movies can be.

Worse zombie ranking list ever! That was horribly done. I can't believe Deadgirl made it above 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later didn't even make it.

To OP, if you want a zombie flick you probably haven't seen, check out Undead (2003). If you don't like it, well at least it pulls off 'high production' pretty good.

The Resident Evil films were mediocre at best. Watchable, thats about it. RES afterlife however was not watchable. Hated it.

That Fido film was the most weirdest, surreal film ever. HAHA, brilliant.
I didn't like some things about the film but it can be forgiven for such a stupid and funny premise.

Didn't agree with the positioning of films myself but it was good for simply giving names of films I've not seen.

I'll check out Undead but I may have seen it. I've seen so many at this stage.

Check out "Dod Sno" (Dead Snow)
    Its about Nazi Zombies.
But its a Scandinavian film, so you ll have to look for one with subtitles.

I must have downloaded that film 5 times before finding one with subtitles. Not overly impressed with it tbh.

I agree. If it is done right, it should be the best zombie movie ever.

I just finished reading this, really cool how it sets up the zombie wars and is more or less a journalistic view of the world war zombie, from all over the world.....so you get a perspective of how the zombie wars took place in china, africa, north america europe and such.....pretty good read....rumors of movie has been rampant for years, but the way the book is written, I doubt it ever comes out.

For actual movies that are good outside of the entire Romero collection:

Last of the Living was okay
Grave Mistake was crap, but had some funny moments
Awake the dead tried to be serious, and failed, but like all zombie flicks had some awesome ass scenes..
and I am omega is worth a watch.

Yeah, I wasn't too thrilled about the movie either. I can't quite see why people suggest this one so much.

It's not a movie, but a side game on "Call of Duty: Black Ops" zombie maps are good. You basically have to survie an endless amount if zombies it's multiplayer or solo game and lots of fun.

Also check out a movie called "stuff". It's about this white substance that looks like yogurt' and someone stumbles upon it.......they taste it and it's awesome' so they decide to sell it, it's later discovered that this substance turned food is now actually a living creature' and starts eating Those who have ingested it.....really cool effects for it's time, good storyline and a few good titties. What more can you ask for?

Yeah, people either suggested DEAD SNOW or HORDE because I believe they were released around the same time and were both foreign. Now, HORDE is brilliant. If you guys haven't seen it, watch it.

Played it and loved it. In fact, I played the mode when it first came out on CALL OF DUT WORLD AT WAR. It's really addictive when played online.

when you are at the main menu, where you are tied to the chair, keep clicking the trigger buttons left and right until you bust loose from the chair...when you are done that, walk around the room to the back where there is a computer....activate the computer and enter the letters DOA.

    GREATEST ZOMBIE KILLING GAME EVER......

on Call of Duty Black ops..

We will never agree on this I'm more into the kind of zombie film where they are housed up somewhere, trying to keep the zombies out but then again, I love nearly all zombie films I have watches (slow and fast)v
    S

I watched Fido which was a bit crazy but I haven't seen a new film yet that isn't a comedy since creating this thread Anyone got any more film suggestions?

I second ChemBros recommendation for World War Z. A good read for sure.

I also second DevilChese's reco for Dead Set. Not the best zombie flick (or series), but a worthwhile watch nonetheless.

Hey dude, did you ever watch Undead (2003)?.... It's a little different from most zombie flicks. But I figured I suggest it since you seen everything else. Here's trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SARsoxC96GI

And I think I'm in the same boat as you. You got any zombie recommendations for me? Was that Fido movie really a zombie flick?

Zombie Strippers was painful to watch ... Jenna Jameison was nice to look at, but the other broads in that movie were as hot or hotter than her. It is sad to see coked up whores trying to act, nice though
