My favorite drink. Italian liqueur made from a bunch of herbs including saffron, has a unique bitter flavor. Enjoying some with a Zombie Dust brew from three floyds to a blackhawks victory. Anyone enjoy fernet or have other bitters to recommend? Not a big drinker but prefer the good stuff.

#2I like a few different amaros, just not Fernet.
Averna is popular and really good. Borschi is a little bit sweeter, but I like it too. Luxardo even makes a good one. Nonino has a root beer taste to it.
Fernet has too much of an after-shave element to it, and there's another one called Cynar, made form artichokes, that I really hated. Try the ones I mentioned and see if you like them too.
Working in Italian restaurants had its perks.Comment -

#3I forgot too, if you do like Fernet, there's another variety called Branca Menta. I never got to try it, but Europeans would order it sometimes.Comment -
