    Little risk? Go with something like a Vanguard long-term tax exempt fund. Or buy some blue chip stocks that pay a dividend and sit on 'em.

    Decent ammount of risk? Buy some well known stocks like Ely Lilly, Pfizer, Cisco, Wells Fargo etc.

    A lot of risk? Well...I can give you a heads up on some cheap stocks, but buyer beware.

    With only 10k its not worth gettin into anything too time consuming.
