    Why Do African Americans and Wannabe African Americans Leave Holograms On Their Hats?

    Sometimes even the tags. Could someone clarify?

    Probably for similar reasons that bourgeois whites and all bourgie wannabes have to have the brand name of their clothes stamped all over them.

    what amazes me is how people leave the manufacturer's tag on the sleeve of a suit or a topcoat nowadays. pretty dumb...

    $20 or $35 whatever. Does anyone know why? Also, can someone explain to me why 17 years or so ago african americans or african american wannabees wore one pant leg pulled up to their shin bone?

    I dont know why the blacks started it. But to this day, white people still wear their pants like that.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1) Leave the tags on...If you need a forty oz. then you
    can return the cap for cash.
    2) 2 reasons...You can tell left from right.
    Makes stealing bicycles much quicker.
    Well Dad, can you kick the truth to the white middle aged youth as to why the pants thing is done?
    I see it all the time as well. It makes no sense... I remember in the 80s when it was the same thing with tennis shoes, they would leave the tag still tied to the shoe laces... It's the white and hispanic kids out here as well, they all leave the tags on their hats... Looks dumb if you ask me.
    The pant leg rolled up , was started so your pant would'nt get caught in the bike chain. Guess it cought on to a thug type thing in the 90's
    I can't answer the question about the hat tags but as far as the pants leg is concerned it meant that you had the work aka drugs, at least that's what it meant around the 757 in the early to mid 90's. Now it is just a stupid fashion.
    number one is so more people will notice them, very important to their basic character. number two is to show they paid full price, not a flea market item. kinda like minnie pearl with the price tag hanging from her "new" hat, although she did it as a joke. these people are fukcing stupid!
    I hate people who leave their hat holograms on it's just retarded. Also knockoff MLB hats from China come with the hologram on it as well so doesn't really show it's legit.
