Drinking age is 21, lower it,raise it, keep it the same

The USA has the highest drinking age minimum
The USA has the highest rate of alcohol related incidents in the world(dunk driving fatals, public intox., etc...)

    I say change it
    don't care what
    but something has gotta change
    our system is, obviously, wrong

Keep it the same. Statistically, the drinking age at 21 saves lives out on the highway, the bottom line is that at 18 you are much less responsible when under the influence. It has nothing to do with voting or fighting for our military.

Has to be in line with the age for adulthood.

In France kids can drink from any age in the home, and buy it from 16 - as a result the intrigue isn't there, and there's infinitely less of all the classic antisocial alcohol-related problems.

21 is way too high. thats why there is so much binge drinking in the USA. when u tell someone they cant do something for so long, they go crazy when they finally can.

Kids will find a way to get beer anyway. It is the driving part that is terrible.

I say leave it because I don't think kids can control themselves with the driving aspect if drinking is legal.

When i went into the military at 17 during the Vietnam war they lowered the drinking age to 18 the logic remains the same today if you can go die for your country you should be able to drink.

i don't drink personally other than having a beer every few months or so. i think getting drunk is a sign of weakness.

the problem is drinking and driving is not punished severally enough. drinking and driving should get mandatory jail time.

18 is a good age. Almost anyone who can drive can get alcohol. Just because the age is higher doesn't make it better. If anything making it legal at a younger age is good because it won't be abused as much after waiting so long. In the end, drunk driving is caused by people who aren't responsible and the best way to avoid it is to have harsher drinking and driving laws.
